Sponsored events

We were so happy to have the Dewsbury Soup money, but were still a way off having enough money to pay for our party.  In October 2021, some of our families got together and organised sponsored events to help us get closer to our total.  We had sponsored walks, scooter rides and penalty shoot outs going on.  Kim Leadbeater MP even joined us at one of our events – the children definitely scored more goals than she did (sorry Kim!).

A Gear That Just Won’t Turn

In December 2020, one of the children in our group, William Atkinson,  had his book, ‘A Gear That Just Won’t Turn’, published.  It is a great book that explains what having ADHD is like for him.  He even got a letter from Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, congratulating him on it. We are so proud of you William!
